This mobile application is intended to support people in improving their personal as well as family health and nutrition by promoting ideal behaviors during the key stages of life – children below two years of age, pregnancy and lactation, adolescence, and old age. These ideal behaviors are not exclusive and when encountered with critical health problems, the users are strongly recommended to contact the nearest health facility or healthcare service providers.
The list and contact addresses of the service providers – female community health volunteers, health facilities, and nutrition rehabilitation homes are cross verified, but one hundred percent accuracy cannot be ascertained as the contact number or address might be changed or the person is replaced. Should any errors or changes be noticed, the users are requested to notify the information officer for the update.
Nutrition Section, Family Welfare Division, Department of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Population, Government of Nepal built the Mero Poshan Sathi app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Nutrition Section, Family Welfare Division, Department of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Population, Government of Nepal at no cost and is intended for use as is.
